Linda Spillane

Linda Spillane grew up on a working farm in rural Ashe County, always close to animals and nature. These factors, along with Native American cultural influences have significantly inspired and refined her art. Her experiences in traveling and selling her traditional ceremonial regalia on the Pow Wow circuit throughout the Eastern U.S. ultimately brought her to creating exquisite masks, jewelry, and objects of art using gourds, and other organic materials. Linda Spillane draws, etches, carves and hand paints one-of-a-kind gourds with designs representing her Native American heritage and connection to nature, along with Asian and Celtic motifs. Her intricate art is available at exclusive galleries throughout the High Country.
