Gina Strumpf likes her paintings to represent the passion she feels for her subject matter. She is drawn to patterns of light and shadow, but also enjoys figurative work, as well as painting horses. Strumpf enjoys painting en plein air and traveling to new and exciting locations. Her paintings are rich in detail, mood and spirit with an inherent warmth and quality in her work that pulls the viewer in and won’t let them go. Strumpf is a member of The American Impressionist’s Society, Oil Painters of America, The International Landscape Artist Society and Western NC Plein Air.
