Artist Submissions

Thank you for your interest in representation by Carlton Gallery.

We appreciate the opportunity to view your artwork which we would like to do by email. A minimum of seven high quality images is requested before proceeding further.

The gallery's criteria for selecting work are based on our specific market and saleability. All art work must be of a high level of skill and consistency. We value creative individuality and are always open to a fresh, contemporary approach to art.

All submissions will be reviewed and artist notification given on a timely basis. If we are interested in your work further, an appointment to view the art in person will be scheduled before a final decision is made.

Send the following information to info@carltonartgallery.com with the subject line 'New Artist Submissions':

1) Resume. Up to date information, including previous and current exhibitions, awards/recognition, education and pertinent experience. Include a list of current representation, if applicable.

2) At least seven but not more than twenty images of current work. Please name each image with artist, title and size and include an information sheet containing title, media, dimensions, year created and retail prices. We prefer quality digital images received as jpegs sized between 300KB and 500KB. None larger than 1MB please.

3) Artist statement. Give a reflection of your artwork or address themes, concepts, or artistic sensibility.

Carlton Gallery exhibits fine art in paintings, sculpture, glass, wood, clay, fiber art and jewelry. Local, regional and national artists accepted.

We review submissions from November through May and will reply to all artists.
